Who We Are

El Paso Children’s Hospital (EPCH) opened its doors in 2012. Our state of the art facility was
constructed with funding from a $120 million voter approved bond passed 2007 and is the only
non-profit, separately licensed hospital in a 350 mile radius providing specialized pediatric care for
children. EPCH represents the culmination of a community vision to address unmet needs for
quality pediatric health care in the region. Under the leadership of President and CEO, Cindy Stout
EPCH is entering its eighth year of providing exceptional health care services for children.
El Paso Children’s Foundation is the designated 501(c)(3) charitable organization for El Paso
Children’s Hospital (EPCH). Our goal is to provide support for EPCH in fulfilling its vital mission of
patient care, education of healthcare professionals, research, and community service to El Paso.
EPCH has an open medical staff concept in which private physicians also see patients while also
serving as an academic teaching hospital harnessing physicians and academic resources through
Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, TTUHSC
Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing, UTEP School of Nursing, El Paso Community College Nursing
Program, Southwest University and other local institutions. EPCH also has a strong affiliation with
William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
