At nearly 27,000 acres the Franklin Mountains State Park is the largest urban wilderness park in the continental United States. We seek to provide recreational and educational experiences while continuing to protect and restore habitats, natural communities and landscapes.
What We Do
Manage and conserve the natural and cultural resources of Texas and provide outdoor recreation opportunities for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations
