Center Against Sexual and Family Violence Water Station

Center Against Sexual and Family Violence
Water Station
The Center Against Sexual and Family Violence (CASFV) will host a water station at the El Paso Marathon. We will need volunteers to help staff the water station and cheer on the runners. It will be a fun event for ages 14 and up. Further, CASFV will get a grand prize if our water station places at the event! Your help is greatly appreciated!
Volunteers must be over 14 years of age. This is a great opportunity for groups and those individuals who need community service hours or service learning hours.
The date scheduled for the El Paso Marathon is Sunday, February 16, 2020.
Volunteers are generally asked to dress in a theme costume. This year the theme is Stranger Things. The dress code is below:
Dress code: blue jeans and either a solid red, white, or black shirt. We will give out props depending on what shirt you are wearing. If you have any Stranger Things costumes or props please bring them with you.
Volunteers: all volunteers will check in and sign-in with Patricia Rodriguez, Volunteer Services Specialist. She will then assign you all to captains who will be in charge of cheering, water table, and the electrolyte station.
Shifts will be from 7 am to 9:00 am or 9:00 am to 12 pm. (It may last until 1 pm, you can also stay the whole duration of the event).
Location is at the corner of Wyoming and Cotton.
