Make quince dreams come true. The Quince Project is a team of madrinas (godmothers) who help local deserving girls with limited means have aquinceañera celebration. Volunteers ares wanted on August 19 from 3-6pm and 6-10pm at 9101 Butternut to help with setting up, decorating, serving dinner and clean up! The Quince Project helps make quince dreams come true by hosting a summer cultural program geared toward helping teen girls make the transition from girlhood to young adult through a quinceañera celebration. Young women are invited to apply to this free program which will culminate with a group quince party. Girls will learn about their heritage and the cultural significance of a quinceañera as they work in small teams to develop leadership skills and organize a group quince. Join us in making the 2016 Quince Project an unforgettable celebration for our quinceañeras.
