Add a little color to a child’s life by joining the #RISEtribe in planting colorful plants throughout the Segundo Barrio middle school, which needs a little sprucing up. We’ll have tiny helpers assisting us in planting. These same children will be the recipients of RISE’s Color Their World - School Supply Drive taking place on July 20 at Hoppy Monk.
This event is in conjuction with the Community School Initiative which is helping improve schools located in Segundo Barrio, El Paso by giving them a facelift. The Community Schools Initiative is a partnership between the schools and community resources to focus on academics, youth development, family support, health and social services to improve student learning and create healthier communities.
