Fabens Back to School Event hosted on July 27 from 8am to 11am at 1331 Fabens Rd. in Fabens, Texas. The event will include free distribution of backpacks, school supplies and food pantry items. The event format is a drive thru. The child does not have to be present. Proof of school registration can be verified with a report card or school ID. The event is hosted in collaboration with the El Paso County Housing Authority, Improving Quality of Life, El Paso Health, and Iliana Holguin County Commissioner Precint 3.
Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, decorating, food distribution, handing out backpacks, break down and clean up. We are also accepting donations of new back packs and school supplies.
