Volunteer at the 2026 El Paso Matters 9.15K!
Be part of one of El Paso Matters’ biggest community events of the year! The second annual El Paso Matters 9.15K takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, at Cleveland Square Park in Downtown El Paso.
The 9.15K brings runners, walkers, families and community members together for a morning celebrating the people, places and stories that make the 915 home. This year’s event includes the El Paso Matters 9.15K and the Texas Tech Health El Paso 1-Mile Family Fun Walk.
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us create a welcoming and memorable experience for participants. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Packet pickup and participant check-in
- Water stations
- Course support and direction
- Start and finish line support
- Finisher medals
- Event setup and breakdown
- Other event-day activities
Volunteer opportunities are available both in the days leading up to the event and on Saturday, Sept. 19. Specific times and assignments vary by volunteer role. Sign up today.
Individuals and groups are welcome, including students looking for volunteer service hours, workplace teams and community organizations.
