On May 4th, the Downtown Artist and Farmers Market will host its first ever afternoon market kicking off El Paso Bike Month from 5pm-9pm at the Pedestrian Pathway location nestled between the Chihuahuas Stadium and the Convention and Visitors Bureau through the Durango St. bridge. This large scale special event features a jam packed schedule complete with free bike activities and demonstrations, Art Crawl, and fun for the entire family. The event is free and open to the public, as are all of the scheduled programming. Volunteers are needed to assist with vendor, presenter, and live entertainment load in, set up, tear down, and load out. Assistance is also needed at the teaching artist booths. Additional duties assigned on an as needed basis. Shifts are available from 3pm to 10pm and include a minimum four hour requirement that must include either open or closing. Volunteers are also welcome to work the entire event as available.
