With urgent repairs to kitchen facilities at the El Paso County Housing Authority, access to kitchen facilities is limited, and families are facing significant challenges in securing nutritious meals. To address this urgent need, we are launching a food drive to collect donations of non-perishable items, canned food, cereal boxes, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Background Fabens is a small rural community with a significant number of low-income families who rely on community resources to meet their basic needs. In partnership with the El Paso County Housing Authority (EPCHA), IQOL has been actively collecting donations of non-perishable items, canned food, cereal boxes, and fresh fruits and vegetables to support these families. However, EPCHA is currently undergoing critical repairs to the kitchens in our housing units, exacerbating the food insecurity faced by our residents. With urgent repairs to kitchen facilities at the El Paso County Housing Authority, access to kitchen facilities is limited, and families are facing significant challenges in securing nutritious meals. To address this urgent need, we are launching a food drive to collect donations of non-perishable items, canned food, cereal boxes, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Background Fabens is a small rural community with a significant number of low-income families who rely on community resources to meet their basic needs. In partnership with the El Paso County Housing Authority (EPCHA), IQOL has been actively collecting donations of non-perishable items, canned food, cereal boxes, and fresh fruits and vegetables to support these families. However, EPCHA is currently undergoing critical repairs to the kitchens in our housing units, exacerbating the food insecurity faced by our residents.
