Translations are a crucial aspect of the work we do in providing high quality legal representation to our clients. Documents may include statements of support, statements describing familial relationships, narratives describing abuse, witness statements, and birth, death, and marriage certificates. Please be advised that some statements will contain personal and potentially distressing content. Strict confidentiality is required for the position to protect the privacy and interests of our clients. This position is best suited for mature volunteers who are reliable, have good attention to detail, and are comfortable working with computers. Volunteers may be asked to help with other duties if the need arises. All volunteers must pass a background check prior to serving.
