Lower Valley Housing Corporation

Lower Valley Housing Corporation forms groups of 6-12 families and teaches them how to build at least 65% of each others' homes. The balance of the work is done by professional contractors and the help of volunteers. LVHC has done over 1,250 homes in the El Paso area. The mutual self-help program provides an alternative to families who would otherwise end up living in substandard colonias.

We are a non-profit, mutual self-help housing corporation for low and low-income families. We have been around since 1990 and are based in Fabens, El Paso County, TX.
