Who We Are
ARL rescues, rehabilitates and places approximately 1200-1400 dogs/cats into loving homes a year. All dogs/cats taken in at ARL are spayed/neutered, brought current on their vaccinations, micro chipped, tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Lyme disease or Feline Leukemia before they are adopted. There is no time limit on how long they can stay. We’ve had dogs/cats stay at ARL for years before they find their forever family.
What We Do
We are a volunteer based, no kill rescue organization serving El Paso, TX and the surrounding communities. We are active in animal welfare issues and education throughout our community. We have worked with Cesar Milan and appeared on National Geographic"s show "Dog Town". We are a private 501 c 3 non profit. We rely on public donations and small grants for support.
