Who We Are

Rebuilding Together El Paso aims to preserve and revitalize houses and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners, particularly those who are elderly and disabled, live in warmth, safety and independence.

We help homeowners who cannot do the work themselves. The homeowners who qualify for assistance from RTEP have financial hardships and are unable to do necessary repairs or maintenance because of their age or disability. RTEP ensures that the work is done at no cost to them.

We identify our recipients based on referrals and homeowner applications received through care-giving organizations, county agencies, churches, neighbors, family and friends. A site visit is made with homeowners to determine both eligibility and the scope of work to be done.

Rebuilding Together is a non-profit organization, completely dependent on grants and donations. Your donations are tax-deductible and make it possible for us to continue to reach out to more people in need.

What We Do

At RTEP we spend our year planning and preparing for National Rebuilding Day, held this year on April 30th. Teams are assembled to work on numerous homes throughout El Paso and implement crucial repairs. The work could not be done without the support of our generous volunteers, sponsors and donors.

We organize our other annual activities around the events of major corporations and institutions, like Fort Bliss' Make a Difference Day, UTEP's Project Move, and Sears' Heroes at Home.
