Who We Are

Big Brothers Big Sisters has served almost 10,000 El Paso children since our 1999 opening. Despite being part of a national network, each BBBS agency is its own independent non-profit responsible for bringing in its own funding and support in its own city. We are very grateful to our El Paso community for stepping up with the financial and volunteer support we need to continue providing for the children and families who need and want our services.

What We Do

Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. We make & support matches of volunteer mentors to at-risk El Paso children. Mentors help these children stay in school, off drugs, and away from gangs…not to mention boost self-esteem, and help deal with bullying and depression…so your support makes a BIG Impact! BBBS participants are also provided many opportunities to be part of free Match and Family Strengthening Activities such as museum visits, tramway adventures, movie days, amusement parks, picnics, sporting events, bowling, etc.
