Who We Are
Since the Civil War, the Armed Services YMCA has consistently provided educational, recreational, social, and spiritual programs to military members and their families. An affiliate of the YMCA of the USA for 150 years and headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, El Paso Armed Services YMCA was open in the early 1950’s to support new recruits entering through Fort Bliss. Our focus is on junior enlisted, E-5 (Sergeant) and below, but no active duty personnel or military family member is ever turned away.
What We Do
The Armed Services YMCA enhances the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind and body through programs relevant to the unique challenges of military life.
