Volunteers needed in Transportation

The VISTA Department at Project Amistad is recruiting volunteers to conduct the Transit Needs Survey. Volunteers will conduct these surveys by doing ride along on our buses in between pick up and drop off at their destination. Surveys could also be conducted at the client’s job site, Dr. Appointment or other medical facilities that are clients are transported to.

This position will be ongoing

1. Requirements: Must be Bilingual in speaking, reading and writing
   1. Must have a flexible schedule.
   2. There is no age requirement for this position, but should be at least 18 years of age. (must produce Government Issued ID)
   3. Have customer service skills.

In order to volunteer you must:

1. Undergo criminal background check
2. Complete VIP orientation designed for volunteers / interns.
3. Committed to being punctual in meeting project assignments and communicate with supervisor when changes in volunteer schedule arise.
4. Should comply with agency policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
