The VISTA Department at Project Amistad is sponsoring the 1st Annual Golfing for Amistad Tournament at Painted Dunes located at 12000 McCombs St. El Paso, TX 79934 on May 21st. We are looking for volunteers to assist with this event. We have 4 shifts available to volunteer
6:45A.M.-12:00P.M. Volunteers would need to be 21yrs. or over. Please provide state or government issued ID for age verification
8:15A.M.-1:30 Volunteers 16 yrs. and above welcome
11:30A.M.-4:00 Volunteers would need to be 21 yrs. or over. Please provide state or government issued ID for age verification
1:00- End of event Volunteers 16 yrs. and above welcome
We need volunteers to assist us with the following:
- Greet players when they come to the venue.
- Registering them as they arrive assisting them with the sign in sheet.
- Distributing entry Goodie Bags.
- Asking golfers if they would like to participate in the Silent Auction.
- Asking golfers if they would like to buy a raffle ticket.
- Distributing water in the field after Shot Gun start.
- 2 volunteers (each) must be close to or at the green for witnesses of veracity of wins on the following special contest:
- 8E (Closest to the Pin)
- 7W (Hole in One)
- 6W (longest Drive).
- Assisting with the Putting and Chipping Contest.
- Assisting with the Awards Ceremony.
