Save the date for the 30th anniversary celebration of Global Youth Service Day! Join the county-backed initiative to assemble and paint Little Free Libraries, which encourages children to take a book and leave a book, across Ascarate Park.
Global Youth Service Day is the largest service event in the world and the only one that celebrates the contributions that children and youth make 365 days of the year. Youth ages 13 and older are invited to participate as we celebrate this day of service in El Paso!
Parking fee is waived for all volunteers participating. Volunteers must be RSVP'd to receive a free parking pass. Food and drinks will be provided.
This event is made possible with the support of El Paso County Parks & Recreation, Juvenile Probation Department of El Paso, United Way of El Paso County, University of Texas at El Paso Department of Civic Engagement and Woodworkers Club of El Paso.
