Join the El Paso Audubon Chapter and Frontera for a series of birding events. Both tours will take place during peak fall migration, a great time for birding!
First we’ll be on the lookout for birds along Resler Canyon’s two arroyos. We will start on Saturday, September 8th, 8 to 10 a.m. to explore the Canyon’s mid-elevation desert-arroyo habitat. Our tour guide will be Kevin Floyd. We might see Gambel's quail, roadrunners, Swainson's hawks, and black-chinned hummingbirds. We will all meet at Cadiz Street for the start of the bird walk. Wear a hat, sunblock, sturdy shoes (as the terrain is rocky) and bring plenty of water. If you own binoculars and a camera, do feel free to bring them. No prior bird watching experience required! Contact Kevin Floyd at elpasoaudubon@gmail.com for more information and to RSVP (Max. group size of 10).
