Description

Operation Hero is an afterschool enrichment program designed to address issues faced by many of our military youth. The program is for children who experience academic difficulties and children who demonstrate difficulty dealing with emotions and conflicts.

Volunteers would assist Program Teacher with activities and help with homework. Program meets at the Child Development Center (7061 Comington St, El Paso, TX) twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4p-530p for 10 weeks in the spring and late fall. Ages may range from as young as 5-14 years old. Activities may be inside or outside depending on the curriculum. We welcome 1 volunteer for each shift so please contact us if you are interested in volunteering for a particular day(s).

Volunteers will be supervised at all times and must go through a background check prior to starting.
