Volunteer Opportunity

 

2019 Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive 

You are invited to volunteer alongside local letter carriers during the 2019 Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, an annual nationwide effort to re-stock the pantries of local food banks. Locally, this single-day food drive provides more than 130,000 pounds of donated food to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank. The goal for this year is to collect 180,000 pounds of food. We are looking for 16 volunteers!

Time: 
 Shift 2 (2 Volunteers)

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Volunteer Duties: Volunteers are needed to assist letter carriers in sorting, packaging, and loading donated food items onto trucks at local post offices.
