As you may know, the Salvation Amy of El Paso Area Command has committed to serving now 1000 meals a day, which will soon raise t close to 2000 meals a day. With this commitment we have been struggling to keep up with the demands of the people, which is why we are hosting a fundraiser luncheon in which we NEED YOUR HELP in order to keep up with the demand of meals needed.
The 500 Soup Kitchen Series is a Luncheon fundraiser in honor of the 500 meals we were originally able to serve and the thousands more we are striving to assist with. We are looking for cooks, servers, and anyone willing to lend a hand in order to help us make this event a success.
The guest speaker for this event will be First Lady of El Paso Adair Margo, who will be speaking to the many attendees about the importance of humanitarianism. We would love if you could help us as we are extremely short staff.
We are looking for at least 10 volunteers willing to make an impact on the community while joining us for a day they will not forget.
