The Planty for the People Garden provides fresh produce for the One Grub Community Chef to use in the weekly menu at the cafe. Leftover produce is sold at a fair price, or donated through the Pay it Forward Program.
Spring planting is just around the corner and One Grub could not ensure local produce and ingredients are included in the weekly menu without the help of talented, hardworking volunteers.
Join us weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9am to 12pm in the Planty for the People garden. Assist the Garden Volunteer Manager with basic tasks such as planting, weeding, composting, watering, trimming, pruning, harvesting, tidying, and other special projects. Pay it Forward meals are available as an option to volunteers, or, donate a coin to the Pay it Forward Bank. Ask us how!
