Volunteers must be 18+
Set-up Volunteers – 10
For set-up volunteers, volunteers will be needed by September 18th, the day before the event.
3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on September 18h
3 p.m. – 6 p.m. (Full Shift)
Volunteers will help set-up the venue space to prepare for event. Duties may include setting up centerpieces, silent auction, check-in table organization and more.
Check-in/out Volunteers – 4 for each shift
5:00 p.m. to 7 p .m. (Check-in)
8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Check-out)
Volunteers will help check-in guests, give table assignments, give bid packets. At the end of the evening, volunteers will help with checking guests out by taking final payments, etc. Training will be done onsite.
Greeters – 2
5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Greeters will man the different areas of the entrance (front, back, etc.) to help welcome guests and point them in the right direction – as well as to give a friendly and welcoming presence!
Wine Pull – 2
5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Volunteers will help with selling wine pull tickets, explaining the game, replenishing supplies and encouraging activity.
Silent Auction – 6-8
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
8:30 to 10 p.m.
Volunteers will monitor silent auction tables, answer questions, encourage bidding and help with check-out of items.
Pourers – 12-14 (MUST BE 21 or over)
5:30 to 9 p.m.
Volunteers will pour wine into guest glasses, rinse glasses as requested/needed and clean area.
Station Assistants – 10-14
5:30 to 9 p.m.
Volunteers will be manned at restaurant and wine stations to assist as necessary with tasks ranging from getting supplies to cleaning.
Bussers – 12-14
5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Bus tables as needed; clean areas and remove trash.
Live Auction – 4
7:30 to 8:40 p.m. (approximate)
Can be volunteers from other stations, reassigned during this period
Assist Auctioneer by standing in certain sections of the audience, encouraging bidders to bid, helping the auctioneer "catch the bids" and determining bidder number; thank and congratulate bidders and encourage bidders in auction participation. Keep the guests attention.
Tear-down Volunteers – 10
9 p.m. to 10:30: p.m. (approximate)
Assist in packing up unsold auction items, supplies and materials. Tear down centerpieces or décor that needs to be returned.
- Dress code: dress professionally yet comfortably.
- No shorts, cut, or torn clothing will be allowed.
- Preferably dark or black pants/slacks and a collared shirt.
