Volunteers Needed for Las Americas 2014 Border Heroes Celebration

Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center is a 27 year-old nonprofit dedicated to serving the legal needs of low-income immigrants.  The organization will be holding its annual Border Heroes Celebration on the evening of November 6, 2014.  The event will take place from 6:30 pm-10:00 pm.  This is an event which honors individuals/organizations who have made a lasitng and positive contribution to the Borderland as well as celebrating its cultural diversity.

Volunteers are needed to help set-up the event venue during the day on November 6th.  Volunteers are also needed to assist with various activities during the event such as seating guests, helping with serving food, and especially important is assisting with clean-up after the event.
