Who We Are

YWCA El Paso del Norte Region is a nonprofit organization founded in 1909. We are a member of YWCA USA, the oldest and largest multicultural organization in the world. For 115 years, the mission of YWCA El Paso del Norte Region is eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Each year more than 40,000 lives are touched by YWCA El Paso through our wide variety of services, including: 7 Academies for Early Learning (Serving children 3 months to 5 years) 45+ YWCA After School Programs (Serving children 4 years to 12 years) 4 Fitness & Aquatics locations Housing Programs, including the Sara McKnight Transitional Living Center Social Equity & Racial Justice YWCA El Paso del Norte Region stands for a fully inclusive community in which each person is healthy and valued, and where racial justice, gender equality, and human dignity are promoted and sustained through bold and effective women’s leadership. What We Do

We serve our El Paso community by providing direct services and empowerment programming from city-wide locations where YWCA staff carry our mission forward through childcare, fitness and wellness for the entire family, and supportive housing services.
