Operation Hero facilitates a positive environment, encourages responsible behavior and provides a chance for military kids to build friendships and share common experiences while further developing their self-esteem and resilience. Operation Hero is a 10 week course and offers an on-site dinner and an hour of academic support that allows students to work on homework after school. Operation Hero meets twice a week for two hours afterschool. The program is open to kids in Kindergarten to 8th grade.
